Project Summary
In the summer of 2024, Latvia hosted a round of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) for the first time, becoming the 37th country to organize this top-level motorsport event. The rally, with its unprecedented geographic scope and organizational complexity, drew an estimated audience of over 100,000 people who attended stages, city activities, and other rally-related venues. The M-Sport Ford World Rally Team saw an impressive performance by local driver Mārtiņš Sesks, who shone in his hybrid Rally1 debut. (Previously, Sesks had driven a non-hybrid Rally1 car in Poland, but in Latvia, he used the hybrid system.)
Our Approach
Our team member Artis was responsible for creating vertical content, primarily videos but occasionally photos, for Instagram and Facebook, capturing interviews and key moments.
"In Poland, I produced 1-3 videos per day, while in Latvia, I produced one video per day. I handled all the filming and editing myself. While filming for WRC, there’s the opportunity to use live broadcast material, which featured the WRC logo in my videos, since it’s generally prohibited to film the rally stages unless you're part of the official TV team. I worked around this by ensuring the footage didn’t appear for longer than two seconds."
